John Deere Header Front Hits Stump

John Ward demonstrates a John Deere header front that was badly damaged after hitting a stump.

The incident occurred at Lismore in Southern Victoria.

The damage inflicted by the stump was severe and impacted the backboard, the deck for the belt and as you can see in the video, the cutter bar is completely bent out of shape.

This unit will have new parts for the back and the deck as well as replacing the affected cutter bar.

This type of damaged is very fixable and the owners, one of Australia's largest grain harvester contracts will get full service in the upcoming harvest.
