Table Auger was Beyond Repair
John Deere 25 foot Table Auger Refurbishment
This is another example of a 25 foot John Deere tin front with a table auger that was severely compromised.
The table auger was beyond repair so the Team replaced the unit and put a stainless steel floor through the entire header front.
New stainless steel bolts were inserted throughout the machine because when header fronts get to this age, they tend to rust into position and need replacing.
Ideal for Pulse Crops
These machines are ideal for stripping pulse crops, particularly field peas and lupins.
The reason why is because the machine can get right down low to the ground and if the unit is in great shape, they do a very good job.
Refurbishing Old Header Fronts
Old machines such as the one in this video can be refurbished to working order.
If you have an old machine, give John a call to see if it can be improved or brought back to working order.
